Perceptions of Nursing and Midwifery

Share your story here by Daniel Gooding

“Share your story here…” is what is in the grey shadowed out writing which is before I start writing about me & my story. Pretty apt, no?

So, the NHS Horizons 30 day challenge for July is to share a blog every days. The featured image is what each of those blogs will contain. And as a journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step, this is MY single step.

My blogs name is “Daniel’s Diary”, the reason I am keeping a blog is because it’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was younger, I think it’s partly to do with hearing the church leaders of my previous religious choice talk about keeping journals but I also believe that keeping a journal/diary can help a person to reflect over time. My blog is about my nursing experiences among other things such as planning Lucy Mays & my wedding (August 2020). My blog is a free space for me where I can talk about anything and if it’s read that’s okay but if it’s not, that’s okay too. It’s like a public record of personal experiences.

Over the next 30 days, I look forward to reading others blogs, and if you are reading this, I hope you enjoy it & thank you,

DCLG
