Perceptions of Nursing and Midwifery

The Journey Begins by newly qualified nurse

Thanks for joining me!

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined. Henry David Thoreau

So my blog is about the tales of the newly qualified just like the fabulous Charlotte diary NQN I really want to get in contact with newly qualified nurses, students and experienced staff to discuss issues I may come across, learn and share practice ideas and discuss the future of the nursing profession.

my blogging name is newly qualified nurse eastern as this is the part of the country I am working in, I work in an emergency assessment discharge unit in a very busy small but mighty acute hospital

Before becoming a nurse I was a healthcare assistant within the trust I’ve also got a foundation degree in healthcare studies and a bachelor of the art degree with honours in professional studies.

My road to becoming a nurse was a long tough and rocky it started back in 2007 but I finally got there this year and I’m just coming up to my six month anniversary of being qualified.

I will tell you more about myself in the next coming days as I am now taking part in the 30-day bloggers this challenge for the 70th anniversary of the NHS.img_0227
